Today, on the 6th of March, Flabell celebrates 1 Year! It has been a great year for them and they have prepared a nice bundle pack, which will be up for 10 days.

The Birthday Bundle Pack consists of 26 Flash Components (all the commercial stuff they are selling) at $317 $47! Holy cow! That’s 85% less.

All updates for these components are free, feedback is welcomed, and the Flash Components are improved daily. So, now you have the chance to get them all at a ridiculously low price.

Filter Portfolio Gallery is Flabell’s new gallery with filters, on two levels. For instance, you can sort your projects by project type, and then by clients, your products by size and then by color, your products by material and then by model, or however you need. You can also use one level filtering.

This component is build from three Flabell components:

• Multipage Thumbnail Gallery
• Horizontal Image Banner Rotator with thumbs
• CheckBox Component

If you own any of these components (the last one in the list can be downloaded for free) you will find the XML file very similar. Each component can be customized with the same features.

For example, you can use this portofolio to feature work that you have done for either Corporate, Agencies or Personal Clients. You can sort these by the work done for them, such as Website, Branding, Interactive, etc.

Scrolling News Ticker is a free (45kb) Flash component offered by Flabell, useful to add headlines from your favorite sites to your own website. The ticker floats a number of text items that have been defined in the XML file. The speed of the ticker can be changed in the XML file.

• Colors settings (backgroundColor, backgroundTransparency, arrowsColor)

• Direction arrows
• Items URL redirection

Downloadify is a JavaScript and Flash library that enables you to download files on the fly files without requiring server interaction. Since it’s running client-slide, this super small library (~3KB of JavaScript, ~2KB SWF, ~2KB Image) enables faster downloads when re purposing data already contained in a page (vCard, iCal, etc.). Thus, this solution can reduce the database and server load of existing web applications.

This is not a library to ‘force download’ a file from a server. It does not interact with a server at all.

If you intend to showcase your portfolio with style, then Flabell’s Photography Portfolio Template could be the product you’re looking for.

In this component with minimalist design and powerful features, you can define as many galleries as fit the menu, each gallery having as many images you want. A cool feature is the option to set different background colors for each image. On the homepage you can use the SWFAddress to add back button navigation and direct links to a section. The images from each gallery, the content from the contact page (including picture and information such as name, address, email etc.), the tag line and many others are customizable from the XML.

The images automatically position based on the width. Any size of the image can be used as long as it fits the height of 420px. The template is optimized for people that use monitors with a resolution of 1024 x 768.

Another nice feature is the possibility to set a default section that will open automatically when you open the page.

Flabell’s Fade In Fade Out Slideshow is a simple image gallery controlled by XML input. With this slideshow you can fade in/out between any number of images, control the loop function, the use of random playback of images, the transition time between slides as well as the display time of an image. All these can be updated in the XML configuration file.

Flabell released CheckBox Component, a minimalist checkbox (weights only 45kb) easy to integrate in any AS3 Flash project. It can be used by drag and drop and the design can be changed by altering it’s movie clips directly in the FLA.

Flabell’s Free Content Scroller is an easy drag and drop scrollbar component with support for both vertical and horizontal scrolling. This easy to use flash component works by passing the content (text or not), a mask (the size of the mask is the display area), the offset and the direction.
