Roundabout is a JQuery Plugin that converts a structure of static HTML elements (either ordered or unordered) into a highly customizable turntable-like interactive area. After a quick configuration it can even work with a set of nested elements. Although the default setup is for <ul> and <ol> elements, you can apply this plugin to anything (for instance a DIV class that has some child objects).
Additionally, you can get the most of Roundabout by using it with two additional plugins: Roundabout Shapes (by Fred LeBlanc) and jQuery Easing (by George McGinley Smith).
Here are some advanced techniques that you can use with Roundabout:
- Set Bearing / Tilt
- Adjust Bearing / Tilt
- Animate to Bearing
- Animate to Delta
- Animate to Child
- Animate to Next Child
- Animate to Previous Child
- Animate Angle to Focus
